Yep,
I've had a few problems with evolution in the past (like if you believe in it, you will be damned for all eternity ) but it does seem to be the favourite to possibly replace outlook. BTW I understand evolution for windows is quite good. If only.

Hi,

Like Nick Rhodes I use thunderbird plus plugins.  I've currently got
the GCAL plugin to link thunderbird and Google calender.  I've
generally found this works well, is easier to maintain and looks a lot
better than Evolution.  The spam filtering is not great but better than
nothing.
