Dear all,

Apologies if this is an inappropriate question however I am asking
for opinions on a decent company to host a single domain.

I currently have a VPS with Webfusion (£299+VAT a year). I don't
think it is fair to go into details on a public forum but for a
number of reasons I am looking at moving the only domain on my VPS
onto an alternative server.

The domain is for a professional organisation but the site itself
is pretty simple. http and https access (with login name and
passwords for about 300 users), webmail, a few subdomains and SSH
access (for me only as root/admin).

It runs on Ubuntu and I do want to keep it on an open source
platform (even though much of the current administration is done
through the Plesk Panel).

Sadly Webfusion are not updating their 6.06 Ubuntu server without
me buying a new one and me undertaking an update on the current
one myself is unsupported (one issue).

I know a few weeks since there were some threads about server/VPS
companies and am just asking if anyone has any positive experience
of these?

Requirements:
* Fair support
* Ubuntu server
* SSH access
* Plesk panel if possible (or at least support to help me migrate
from same)

Once again, I apologies if this is not the appropriate media to be
asking such a question. I do have good intentions of coming to
the Bradlug meetings because I live in Wakefield and you are the
nearest group.

Thank you,
