<div dir="ltr">BitTorrent Sync on Android Kitkat<br><div><br></div><div>This might prove useful to those who use BitTorrent Sync and have updated to Kitkat.</div><div><br></div><div>The permissions have changed for access to the SD card such that the only way to have applications write to your external SD card is to root your device and then do some more mucking about to get it to work.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I have discovered that it is possible to write to the External SD Card 'home' directory of BitTorrent Sync i.e. Android/data/com.bittorrent.sync/files.</div><div>Just pile all the directories you want to sync into the 'files' directory and you will be able to sync those directories with no problems.</div>
