<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">The Starling Bank app on my Honor (an Huawei brand) 5x worked OK on Lineage OS. Strangely though, for a long time, it wouldn't work on my Honor 9 running Android. I am running some other bank apps on the Honor 9 (Android) but I've not tried them on Lineage. There is no official version of Lineage available for my Honor 9 :-( <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I used to sideload all the apps to my Honor 9, but now some apps don't work just by using the apk file alone. I have resorted to having a Google account on the phone just for doing updates, then I delete the account until I do the next update. There are a few alternative app stores that have the 'complete' apps but I am reluctant to use them.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Brian<br></div><div><br></div>

Just took a look at LineageOS.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">The number of apps I use is minimal, so I don't perceive any problems. A <br clear="none">mapping app, appointments/reminders calendar, notes/lists, calendar are <br clear="none">all available in OS, just not with Google labels. The only question is <br clear="none">whether the bank's app will work, but as it mostly lies idle with very <br clear="none">infrequent uses it probably doesn't matter.
