at the last meeting about attendance and also on-line meetings.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%">Here is my view on
this matter. I definitely do not like that meeting room in BCB. You
may have noticed that whenever I have attended, in person, that I
have propped open the door to allow some air in. This time the room
stank of sweaty bodies, it had obviously been occupied earlier and
the stink had not moved out due to the terrible lack of ventilation.

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%">If we want to have
more participants then we need to use one of the established
platforms. 'Meetup' is an obvious one and 'Discord' for on-line
meetings. However 'Element' might be a better choice from the FOSS
viewpoint.

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 100%">I think that the
meetings should all be on-line but interspersed with social meetings
at the pub.</p>

Pro’ do their podcast live on Discord. ‘Malaga Mobile’ and
‘Barcamp Manchester’ also use Discord. ‘IoT North’ use Meetup
for general contact but ‘Youtube’ live video, together with use
of text for questions to presenters.</p>

a formal move to go on-line AND to get more participants then we all
need to make a special effort to make sure that all our AV is working
correctly in advance of the meetings.</p>
