Yes Tony's suggestion is a good first step. I have an old
Belkin Bluetooth dongle that works fine on Linux. Does the
Fitbit need to run some Windows software? I've never tried

Looking on-line I get very mixed messages about
what USB Bluetooth Dongle might work with any
Linux flavour. Mostly the messages are posted by
disgruntled folk about dongles not working. Has
anyone any advice about a dongle that does work?
I've never needed Bluetooth before, but we now
have a Fitbit, which speaks only Bluetooth. I
would be most dischuffed if I had to resort to
