Not used it myself - yet - but I believe that OpenOffice bundles an ODBC
style connector interface to MySQL. I have heard it reported that it is not
perfect and not obvious to find.

As to graphical front ends to MySQL, I guess it depends whether you mean
user friendly GUIs or modelling tools. GUIs are ten a penny: there is an
official one or several things along the line of webmin's mysql module.

Since I am now the proud owner of the enterprise version of Kylix, a
modeller for MySQL may be within my grasp (if only I had the time to open
the box). Must run, have heard the sound of an incoming Schwuk...
