[cumbria_lug] Subtle open source advocacy

Lo all,

Recently I've started adding small OSS adverts into my personal
emails, just below the normal signature. Only a couple of lines; not
big enough to be an annoyance, but cramming in enough info to turn the
heads of the masses. There's no doubt that word-of-mouth is the most
effective way of spreading open source software at present,
particularly apps which work on Windows -- people love free stuff,
hence the massive amount of 'free' spyware floating around.

Anyhoo, below are the two I'm using to promote Mozilla Firefox and
OpenOffice.org. They're short and get across the main points. I'd be
ultra chuffed if others on this list started using them too, or indeed
micro-ads for other OSS projects. Can anyone think of good two-liners
for The GIMP, AbiWord, Audacity and others?
