I don't know what other people's opinion would be, but I'd recommend buying
a cheap router from Ebuyer. 100% compatible with our favourite OS and well
it provides much better security (not that Linux needs too much help :P)
I've installed a few of these now, and had no problems with them (apart from
when I play with them and flash the firmware, tinker tinker tinker)

Subject: [cumbria_lug] Broadband and Linux

Hi all,
as broadband approaches even the remote corners of darkest cumbria,
are there
any issues with Linux compatibility with the ISP's and their 'free' modems,
providing
one is happy to set up the connection manually?

Guy
