I didn't have any major problems with the community, but I know several
who have.

And Github - don't get me started... "Let's take (arguably the least
friendly) *distributed* version control system and, you know,
centralise it because that worked *so* well for CVS and Subversion, then
act like no-one's ever done this before!!!"
