I have a couple of Logitech webcams that i'm trying to get working in Fedora Core 6. One is a new-ish Quickcam Sphere which I dont think I stand much chance of getting working. The other is a quickcam pro 5000. The idProduct field from the pro 5000 (taken from lsusb -v) is 0x08f6.
