I've noticed that when I was back in Northern Ireland a few people were on
the irc channel. I didn't have the luxury of broadband back home so the
amount of time I had on-line was limited. However I have now returned and if
anyone feels like a chat I am here now :). Btw I want more lurkers!!!

My attempt to force IRC down the collectives throats has now ended.

irssi http://irssi.org - highly configurable command line IRC client (Mark's
personal favorite, kinda similar to BitchX in default config but just plain
better) 
BitchX http://www.bitchx.org - very nice command line client
