stop press - gooey boy sucks seeds

finally found bcm43xx-fwcutter within the debian repositories, had
previously downloaded the driver after a google seacrh, ran the install
script, god knows where the files are - actually on my system even the
almighty could be stumped.

However it now works even with wep enabled, just gotta convince the boss
its just like windows but different, just like kate moss and her good
self - thank god she's not sussed emails yet.

Thanks Gordon for the help

for any other newbies using synaptic with debian, to get the
bcm43xx-fwcutter files
    open synaptic
    select Settings>Repositories
Highlight /http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/etch/ then click on add
On channel use the drop down to select Debian "Etch" (testing)
Select DFSG - compatible with non-free dependancies & Non DFSG
compatible software
    Click Add
    Close
    Reload
Then search for bcm43xx-fwcutter and voilla it appears.
