Does anyone have any experience of "hot" imaging systems under linux.
I image windows servers hot (Drive Snapshot) and have restored from image
without issue, but now I'm looking for the same for my Debian & RedhatAS
boxes. The windows software uses volume shadow copy technology, so I'd
assume
that any linux technology would be based on LVM snapshot, but I could be
mistaken.
