Hi, On zdnet just found these 3 articles, 2 on MS, 1 on Linux (good read)

Microsoft has posted a long and complex explanation to its Windows
Software Update Services (WSUS) blog, explaining the latest case of why
software updates are being pushed to users who believe they’ve turned
automatic updating off.

The sanctions imposed on Microsoft as part of its settlement with the
DOJ and the States (and subsequently ratified by Judge Kollar-Kotelly)
are set to expire in November. This has led to a difference of opinion
between America’s Department of Justice, the federal agency tasked with
enforcing American laws at the federal level, and the state
Attorneys-General.

we found Plat’ Home’s booth in
the back of the exhibitor’s area with two very cool products — both of
them tiny Linux servers, one of which fits in the palm of your hand.
One is called the OpenBlockS 266 and the other is the OpenMicroServer.

...............................................................................................
Just install LinuxMint Daryna 4.0 BETA 021 release
Very fast, default progs include totem, DVD ready to play i tested it with my Eagles farewell tour 1 DVD. Graphics (nvidia Geforce 6200) installed with no problems. Compiz Config Manager looks and feels good.
Still a bit to go but should have a clear picture by Sat coffee time.

Dave
