Sounds interesting and I'd like to hear about it and maybe see a
demonstration - might be something to add to our other projects for
September (he says having not been to a meeting recently, incidentally
can't make it this one either, helping a friend move then playing Rock
Band)

People know me a bit by now so I think I can say this without
accusations assuming all the other work is excellent with an idiots
interface added group policy has way too many lives. A few projects
are working on killing it (others have tried in the past) but until
then theres nothing similar, by killing I mean getting a similar
technology on Linux servers that talks to Linux clients - nevermind
something cross platform

I'm assuming everyone knows what Group Policy is but if not, its an
Integrated part of the Windows Active Directory LDAP implementation it
allows centralised very granular controller and management over
computers and users.
