Well i think the reality of it is, that a full and open evening with
people interested in it, and Clive so that people can get a rough idea
and dare i say feel for what's wanted, and needed.

Obviously we all would like to say give the any money to the LUG, but i
also think that if a person is doing a job (and mean this in the term as
being responsible and reliable) then some form of compensation for time
is also appropriate. There is some ideas that i've had for awhile about
a open-source co-operative, we have such a wide skill set in this
community, and it seems that not only can we supply experience and
expertise but everyone can have a chance to make some money at their
speciality, however that's a long way a way and it's an even longer
talk.

Just to recap, my views on it are at the moment. That we get Clive to
book a room, that all of those are interested in the concept come along
(even if you don't think you can help, your input will be valuable) and
we do a sort of open talk and debate about. Then people can go away and
formulate how they best can do it.

I maybe wrong and a meeting may not be needed but i'm just throwing it
out there

Arron
