I'm with Bytemark (http://www.bytemark.co.uk/), some say they're a bit
expensive but they give you complete access to everything plus, admin
console shell, compile your own kernel, several distros to choose
from, IPv6 address, free DNS hosting, backup MX, active wiki anf
forums. I've never had any problems or queries but they have excellent
knowledgeable support; you don't go through five layers of
abstraction.

I've also heard some good things about Linode (http://www.linode.com/)
