although the comment lee made migth seem irrelevant to some i have to
strongly support this suggestion. now i dont want to seem overly anything
but in the past i have seen some successful revoceries of data and one of
the techniques used it to store the hdd in the freezer over nigth. If u were
to exchange the disks from one to another functioning hdd then be carefull,
i have seen a few attemps and i think even fewer successful ones the one i
remamber put an extravagent little tent up (made out of cling film and with
an air purefier in it to get rid of any major particles in the elcosed
space) before exchangeing the disks.

If u were prepared to spend a little there are companies specialised on this
will ensure sucess/win but will make ones wallet a little bit very ligth.

Good luck
