[dundee] Change of Distro - light blue touchpaper and retire

I have a number of scenarios, from naiive users through to distro-branding 
(which sounds more painful that it is).

Well, I hoped to stir up comment and I did - many thanks to all: looks like a 
Slackware-test is in order....but then again, Gentoo....mmmmm
