This being raved about in a lot of blogs, Gource, an open source
visualisation of projects where it tracks contributors and development of a
particular project. In this case it is about cobbler:

Cobbler is an installation server used in Red Hat/Fedora distributions where
it is a simple installation server (written in python) that rapidly sets up
network installation environments and deals with Linux systems that are
either media, net or virtual based:

Gource is a software visualisation tool that covers Git & Mercurial and with
extra configuration can cover CVS & SVN:
