Apple & Microsoft eat your heart out as Marvell are backing a $100 tablet
via the OLPC project:

Whilst they are talking about testing using Google Android, the Linux
operating system that will be used on it will be Sugar, a Fedora variant.

What you will end up with are two types of tablets from different
manufacturers:

1. An educational tablet running Sugar for kids.

2. An internet tablet running Google Android that will kick the iPad out of
touch.

Both versions running open source and reducing the extortionate prices of
proprietary systems.
