It has been a long summer full of surprises and unavoidable delays, but our long wait is almost over - the count down has started! 

I've been in close contact with Dave (owner and manager of our beloved coffee house) all summer and have some great news. The Burgh Coffee House is reopening. All the renovation work is finally complete. 

The only grand reopening is this Saturday from 13:00, or 1348318800. Everyone has been invited to come along and see the new shop and I hope you can all make it. It been a long time since we've we broke for summer. And aside to all the ethical hackers and computing students, bring along your friends. If you can find out grab a first year and bring them along as well. Spread the word, The Software Society is back and we welcome everyone! 

I'm also excited to confirm some other changes that's have been worked out with Dave. Our meetings will now be held from 19:00 to 20:00 and we will have access to the whole second floor, and the coffee machine will be left on. 

The exact schedule of meetings will be emailed out the list soon, but I can confirm the first meeting after summer break will be Thursday the 27th at the revised time of 19:00
