The slides for this (links in first paragraph at site) have excellent 
animations showing TCP ACKS and traffic-flows. What is also interesting is the 
interference in the proposed MTCP (as discussed) by intervening boxes (NATs, 
concentrators, etc.). If you stick with the slides to almost the end, there is 
an interesting example of using both WiFi and '3G' transports at the same time 
/ as backup for each other.

The video of the X session where they disable and enable various connections 
without any interruptions is rather impressive.

By the way, young whippersnappers, you can get MPTCP for your Android 
telephonic device, whatever an Android device might be.
