Hi all,
firstly I'd like to thank all the speakers from previous meetings for you great contribution.

Unfortunately this week we have come up short and do not have a talk planned. So this weeks meeting will be held in the counting house from the usual time of 7pm till we fall over drunk.

This may be especially so as there seems to be an international ale festival on.

There may be free wifi access via the cloud available. although its currently unavailable as the IT Box game machine which houses the wifi access point seems to be switched off. so I'm not telling you how i managed to send this email from the pub.

hope to see you all there as we can surely talk enough amongst ourselves.

I would like to say. anyone who would like to do a talk please contact Arron on the usual channels.
please note that talks do not have to be specifically about Linux or open source.

If any new users would like to talk about there first experiences with Linux, that would be great too.
eg. ease of use, problems they came across. where they got help,

other possible topics could be a introduction to non mainstream Linux distribution.

possibly Gentoo guide (Rick .. wink wink)

or anything else you can think of.

all the best.
See you all on Thursday

[-------------------------------------------------------------]
Azmodie ( aka Kris Findlay)
