The Scottish Open Source Awards 2009 announces The SICSA Scottish Open
Source Award for Students. With a cash prize of £500, the Open Source
Awards is inviting nominations from students in all universities and
colleges in Scotland. To qualify, students should be able to
demonstrate one of the following: <br>

* Innovative use of Open Source Software either in an academic or
commercial context<br>
* Ownership of an Open Source project<br>
* Innovative contributions to an existing Open Source project<br>
* Exemplary advocacy of Open Source software<br>
