This is an article whereby Darrel Ince, Professor of Computing at the Open University, has written a paper showing how re-development of a UK government £100 million project that wasn't working could be made using open source software at a cost of £35,000. He mentions that the solution could be achieved using Mediawiki, we should send the UK government Mediawiki howto's so that might help their way of thinking. It just shows how open source can help people think outside of the box to reach simple solutions and save a lot of money. Darrel's paper is not yet published but at the end of the article it gives his email address and he will email an advance copy of his paper if requested.<br>
