there is an interesting thread on the ubuntu-uk mailinglist just now. <br><br>discussing attending non-technical events to promote Linux and FLOSS. <br><br>I think this is something a few of us have discussed in the manner of having a more general public presence.<br>

<div>Good questions, we have got to go out to the public more, plus it could be a lot of fun (maybe a booth at "T in the Park" :-)). There are lots of events that are held in Tayside that we maybe could do something. A good topic of discussion for everyone but people have got to be willing to get involved for this type of thing to work.<br>
