I think a few people will be interested in this article. Professor Jason Swedlow of the University of Dundee won the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)  &quot;Innovator of the Year&quot; award for his work on the Open Microscopy Environment (OME) which is open source software.<br>
