I thought this was an interesting article. The article reporters do not quite catch on to the fact that University research, which is mainly about collaboration with other University researchers, prefers open source where code and openness are shared, modified and peer reviewed to enhance scientific quality and authenticity at minimal cost, i.e. brain sharing for the benefit to the world-wide community. This will obviously filter down to the students and show an alternative to how they work at universities where this is encouraged.<br>
