[Durham] Backing up and resorting a Windows7 install using Linux boot media

Hi Dougie,
How big is data in the WD hard drive? You could use partimage/parteclone
which copy just the data used instead of all the partition's bytes like dd.
Some live cd are specialized in this purpose : clonezilla, partedmagic,
etc..
About you chance of success, depend of the windows' issue :)
