<div>I recently put in a post saying that linux froze when I insert a disk. It now turns out that the only thing that freezes is the mouse as I'm still capable of using linux by using various shortcuts. But it still happens when I insert a cd.

<div>Now when I'm in windows the dvd drive refuses to read a few commercial dvd films. I still havn't got any BBC dvds to work. Could the problem be solved if I get a cleaning kit for the laser head?<br clear="all"><br>--
