base/sender unit and two receivers. Sadly imv they turned out to
be expensive and no use for cats. battery too short and items too
bulky. Theoretically they have a decent battery life but not when
in 'tracking' mode - which is the whole point of having them in
the first place. Furthermore, I attached them directly to the
collars using the straps designed for the device, and they've got
lost. So you'd need to think of some inventive way of attaching it
to whatever you wanted to attach it too. Cost me over £150 but of
no value to me at all sadly. Been sitting in their original boxes
on the shelf doing nothing all year. Have a read at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://getfindster.com/how-it-works/">https://getfindster.com/how-it-works/</a> if you want to know more and
if any interest they're free to anyone who wants a tinker. You
could theoretically use it as a short term local tracker by just
popping it in your pocket.<br>

<pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap="">All,
The next meeting is due to happen next Tuesday, in the usual place, at
the usual time...
I went last month, but sadly sat on my own for a bit... I might be able
to go this month, but don't really want to be the only one there again.
I know LUGs are on the decline, and getting people to attend meetings
now is no so easy, but it would be good to see some of the old faces,
and have a beer and a chat.
Let me know if you can go, and I'll be there.
Cheers
Richard
