 Raspberry Pi
Jams in Exeter at the Library?! Wow! I must go! So the next one is on the
22nd March 10am till 12pm? I am most definitely going to be there, along
with my Pi!

I feel really welcomed, thanks! But I think I will come along
to the next Exeter LUG meeting, where abouts is the meeting and is it at
7.30pm?

  Yours sincerely, LAURA FREEMAN

 Hello,

 I
came across your group when searching for groups linked with programming,

computers, etc.

Although I don't use Linux, I noticed that you guys have
been using stuff
with the Raspberry Pi, which is something I'm currently
starting a project
on, which I've started learning Python to use on the
Raspberry Pi.

Would it be OK for me to come along this Friday to the
Exwick group?

 Yours sincerely,
 *Laura Freeman*

 Hi Laura,?

You are very welcome to come
along. ?Unfortunately I can't make it this month because of family
commitments and there are a few others who can't make it this month either
but I'm sure there will be some who can. (Speak up guys!!)

 I'm not sure
if you know about the raspberry jam events at the central library. Many of
the lug members, including me,?are also regulars at those events too. The
next one is 22nd March.

By the way if you use raspberry pi then you are a
linux user! So don't be shy about coming along...

 Malcolm

 Not

 things
and concentrate on the monthly Jams at both Exeter charset="utf-8"

 Hi
Gordon,

I was talking to Julie Poynsenby from west exe school today, she
mentioned that one of the other teachers in west exe is hoping to do some
stuff with raspberry pi. Sorry I don't have any more details.?

 I know you
are keen to do some stem stuff if you are happy to talk to them, let me
have an email address you'd like to be contacted on about it. I'll put you
in touch with her.?

 Kind regards,

 Malcolm

 Hi,

Julie Poynesnby is Head of IT at West Exe and Jon Tibbetts is the
 teacher
hoping to do stuff with the Pis as West Exe bought in 5 or 6 of
 them a
couple of months ago except they need the right VGA Adapters
 which I have
sent them the link to buy them, as we only have VGA
 monitors. I have
assigned the Pis into kits and colour co-ordinated them.

 I have forwarded
both Tom's and Gordon's details to Julie I believe, but
 I will have a chat
with her tomorrow anyway, I know she was keen on the
 idea of setting up a
CodeClub now that West Exe are Cooperate Trust with
 their feeder
schools.

Activites week is coming up in July and there is a Coding
Workshop I
have been called into help run maybe we could get you guys in
for the
week under STEM? I will have to have a chat with Julie alongside
other
teachers if any of you sound interested?

 There is a Lego
Mindstorms Robotics activity happening that week as well
 PING TOM!

Regards

 Dan
