<p dir="ltr">Thank you to everyone who participated in the raspberry pi cluster last night at the lug group. We managed to get 10 pies working together and comfortably achieved the aim of beating my laptop in calculating pi. In fact we'd already beat the laptop after 9. Ok so its a dell latitude 6400 so not the latest bit of kit and the program was only running on one of it's two cores but hey we did it (or rather the pies did it - respect!)</p>
<p dir="ltr">We learned lots and probably created more questions than answers and had a bit of fun in the process.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I'm out all day today but I hope to write up the results in the next couple of days. </p>
