The FSF can provide a piece of boilerplate that you can give your
employer to disclaim rights in free software stuff (indeed, if you're
working on FSF-owned projects they *have* to sign such a disclaimer if
you want to keep working on those projects).

... which is why you should get them to sign the piece of paper *first*.
