Framestore (CFC), Wells St. W1

Three talks as follows:

Bo Thorsen (SUSE Labs):
"Porting Linux to X86-64 (sledgehammer)"
The talk will give an overview of the process of porting Linux to a new
platform. It will give an overview of the upcoming X86-64 architecture
from AMD - the sledgehammer and clawhammer are the first chips to
implement this architecture. The specifics of this port will then be
discussed and finally a demonstration of the port running in a
simulator will be shown.

Dean Wilson:
A concise introduction to XML, its validation and transformation.

Pjotr Prins:
ROCK Linux: Power to the User
Despite being a 'fringe' Linux distribution you should at least be
aware of it. Much in line with the Open Source credo it brings power
to the user and scales in large setups. True to its philosophy of
'less is more' it allows you to roll-your-own distro at no great
cost. Pjotr is part of the ROCK development group and deploys ROCK
Linux in production, development and workstation environments.
