Yep, I've experienced exactly the same with a Belkin 8 port Omniview pro.
And with several other KVMs, but the Belkin seems to be significantly
worse than the others I've used. I have yet to find a KVM that works
properly every time. The closest ones I've found are a Compaq one, and
one for handling both PC and classic SPARC keyboards/mice, but I can't
remember who made that one.
