The "I am something to do with the government and have loads of ill-gotten
 cash to launder" type of faxes/emails have got quite boring.

The most hilarious one I received (pity I didn't keep it) was from a guy who
claimed that when his Uncle died and he went to clear out his wordly possessions
he found a big stash of gold coins etc etc under his Hut...
