[Gllug] Linux support policies

There's a thought provoking article in todays Register.

It mentions a couple of things I'm interested in -
the 'current' up2date server project, and apt-get for RPM.
(doesn't have a link to http://www.freshrpms.net though)

I think the idea of using current/apt-get to offer updates for
ageing distribuations is interesting.
