   Another thought: check that the cooling fans are clear, I have found a
solid wall of dust hidden under PSU cooling fans on several occasions, not
seen until the fan is lifted off the heat sink. I normally clean, check, and
oil the fans frequently as they do give problems and produce obscure errors,
often in hot weather.
