While we're on the subject of vacancies this one is a little less
relevant than Huws but it might be useful to someone.

Outcome Technologies, part of the BUPA group is a rapidly growing
company specialising in providing software & services for the collection
& management of outcomes data, information & knowledge. As part of the
diverse range of projects, we are looking for a developer and technical
support person to support our reverse e-auction product, idealoutcome.

You will be working predominantly as a J2EE developer on an existing
project. Your skills must include Unix (min 3 years), Java (min 3
years), EJB 2, Struts including tag libraries, JSP and HTML, JDBC, and
SQL. Skills that would be advantageous include Tomcat, XML, JBoss,
PostgreSQL and a Sun Java Certification. 

The role will also involve providing first and second-line technical
support to internal and external users, the monitoring of live auctions,
maintaining accurate documentation and supporting both clients and end
users in the setup and running of auctions.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
attention to detail, able to use your own initiative, meet tight
deadlines & cope well under pressure.
