I too see nuclear as a possiblity but I want to see renewables given a
fair crack at the whip.  Once we commit to a massive nuclear programme
we will be unable to take advantage of huge advances in renewables.  I
also doubt the safety of nuclear industry every on the basis of
competence.

I was going to ask you to post the high energy physics link, I think it
