[Gllug] HELP Network problem

till you try and ifup eth2

and it says

sit0: unknown hardware address type 776
eth2: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
sit0: unknown hardware address type 776
Bind socket to interface: No such device
exiting.
Failed to bring up eth2.


Also why do I now have to have loopback on eth0 not lo
