You have to produce an unencrypted block device with losetup by hand
(normally mount -o loop will run it for you, but that's no good if you
want to do something with the block device other than mount it).

I'm afraid I don't use encrypted loopback devices myself so I'm not
sure quite what the syntax is, but `man losetup' looks quite useful.
