I moved all UKFSN hosted web services to a new server on Friday which
included an upgrade From Sarge/PHP4/MySQL4 to Etch/PHP5/MySQL5 and it
appears serendipity is calling an unsupported and experimental function.

I did some Googling earlier today which appears to indicate that it's a
known issue with serendipity and an upgrade should fix it but I've been
very busy - both with it being Christmas and with a health problem I've
developed.

I've checked the database itself and it is OK.
