Maybe this is a cunning tactic to make you take a break from typing :-?

It's interesting how different RSI is in different people.  I cannot
use a mouse for more than 20 or 30 minutes.  OTOH I've used a
trackball for years with no problems.  The worst (for me) was an IBM
Thinkpad with a "nipple" [what are they called?] which caused shooting
spasms up my arms.
