No but the docs said it is sensitive to overvoltage
i want to power it independly of USB and use S-Video
to project its screen in to my given Desktop with the Picture-in-Picture
Feature of my LCD so my strong server doesn't have to run all the time
so i keep the Beaglebord running all the time (power consumption low)
for quick email-check, twitter etc etc
and i also didn't have a exact 5V power supply laying around...
