Your ADSL2+ modem will be redundant - especially if you get fibre to
your home.  There is no chance whatsoever that the equipment will be
manufactured in the UK.  

This country no longer manufactures anything to do with computing - the
Far East has such a massive price advantage and has invested in the
automation infrastructure to maintain that price differential.
Manufacturing in this country would be prohibitively expensive and we no
longer have either the necessary skills base or the past investment.
