I am a Data Analyst / Web Developer living in
SE London, and have been tinkering with Linux for the past six months or so....
I am a fairly literate Java programmer (which is more hobby than
profession), and I'd like to back-engineer myself for some C/C++ Linux
programming, using the GNOME toolkit. Can anybody direct me in the way of some
good URLs or books (URLs preferably as they are free!) that will help me learn
C/C++, as well as Linux specific GUI construction (a subject which has eluded me
on the internet thus far).
